Pchum Ben Day 2 continues pagoda offerings and merit-making for ancestors during Cambodia’s festival of the dead.

Pchum Ben Day 2 is the middle public-holiday day of the ancestral festival. Roads between Phnom Penh and the provinces stay busy. Families who offered at a hometown wat on Day 1 may visit a second pagoda, or repeat the morning rice-ball offering (bay ben) for relatives who could not travel.
